It’s disappointing to see France leaning further to the right after such a divisive election. A center-right government is unlikely to tackle the growing wealth inequality and social issues that are hurting working-class people. Macron has always been more aligned with big business and the wealthy, and now with conservatives in the mix, it’s hard to see how they’ll prioritize the needs of ordinary citizens. We need more focus on universal healthcare, affordable housing, and stronger labor protections. Instead, I worry we’ll see more austerity and policies that benefit the elite. The left needs to keep organizing and pushing back against this. France deserves a government that works for everyone, not just the rich.

I hope they don’t prioritize austerity over social programs that actually help people, especially with the country already so divided.

Well, I’m a bit concerned about how much sway the conservative Republicans will have, especially when it comes to social policies and protections for working-class people. Macron’s centrist approach could help balance things, but there’s always a risk of leaning too far right. Hopefully, they can find common ground and actually tackle income inequality and climate action.

A center-right government isn't exactly what France needs right now, especially after such a divisive election. Macron should focus more on addressing inequality and social justice instead of leaning into conservative policies that might deepen the divide.

It's good to see France steering back towards some conservative values, hopefully this government can bring some stability and common sense to the table.

Doesn't matter if it's center-right, left, or whatever—they're just shuffling the same deck of bureaucrats. More government isn't going to solve France's problems, especially when they keep meddling in people's lives and the economy. Let people keep more of their own money and make their own choices instead of relying on another top-down administration.
