The French National Rally, known in French as Rassemblement National (RN), is a right-wing political party in France. Originally founded in 1972 as the National Front (Front National), the party underwent significant rebranding in 2018, adopting its current name in an effort to soften its image and broaden its appeal. The New Anticapitalist Party is a far-left French political party founded in February 2009. The party launched with the intention of unifying the fractured movements of the French radical Left, and attract new activists drawing on the combined strength of far-left parties in presidential elections in 2002, where they achieved 10.44% of the vote.

Ensemble is a French political party, defining itself as anti-capitalist, anti-racist, feminist, and eco-socialist, and was launched in November 2013. The membership of Ensemble is made up of activists coming from various left-wing and radical political traditions: altercommunist, trotskyist, feminist, "red-green", ecologist, etc., as well as trade unionists and global justice activists (alterglobalists). Ensemble aims towards strengthening the Left Front by building a broad movement against austerity.
